Security is of the utmost importance at Kbean. From keeping your purchases safe and private, to secure payments, everything at Kbean revolves around secure technology for both artists and buyers.

Like opening up a bank account, our initial verification of “you” is critical for us as your account will be the de facto wallet of your digital assets, and their respective crypto tokens. We require your mobile phone number to be verified, along with your email, user ID, and password in order to complete registration.

All art on Kbean is permanently registered in the public Ethereum blockchain. It’s authenticity is indisputable. If you are an artist, Kbean has created an easy way for you to “create” your own crypto tokens by registering your art through Kbean in digital form. These crypto tokens, “MicroNFT(™)”  that you have minted represent yourself and your own art that could be purchasable by multiple buyers. If you are a buyer, you can rest easy knowing the art you have purchased is indeed authentic. To ensure no fraud or duplication, we generate a crypto hash to every art that’s being registered, and each hash is uniquely tied to the minted crypto tokens in the public Ethereum blockchain. Additionally, Kbean’s provence checks ensure that even if someone was able to duplicate both the crypto token and art, Kbean system will know that the person never owned the crypto token in the first place.

Each user’s minted, purchased, or exchanged crypto tokens are all kept within Kbean’s private digital storage vault, where only you have access to your own account. The original digital art is locked in a digital vault encrypted that is separate from the Kbean marketplace. No one has access to the vault and the original art work is never exposed to any users. Those users who own the art through the matching crypto token can stream the art encoded with HD or 4K resolution to their TV. Additionally, we do not allow the Kbean’s crypto token (aka MicroNFT™) to be exported to other external wallets in its native form in order to securely protect and group your digital art asset.

We use both PayPal and Apple’s in-app payment system for all transactions. We do not store nor keep track of your personal data nor financial information. All transactions are secure and private, and do not involve other crypto coins.

Value of art should be based on real, transparent, and successful transactions. By following standard financial industry practice, we monitor all purchase transactions and identify the most recent successful transaction for each crypto tokens that represents each art, every day at 5 p.m. ET.  Also, while we respect free market activities, pump and dump activities are prohibited. To mitigate these activities, a seller is not allowed to raise or drop the price of a digital edition of art, the art’s one crypto token, more than 50% from the current estimated value which was computed by the above. 

We developed our own streaming TV app for FireTV, and are soon releasing on Apple TV, Samsung TV and LG TV natively. Kbean streams your purchased art verifying your identity with your ID and secret code that’s only available through your phone app and your ownership of the crypto tokens in your account. Only the crypto token owner can request the streaming of the  art. Our streaming service platform will verify not only your identity with multi-factor verification, but also the ownership of the corresponding crypto tokens representing the art. Only then will the streaming service be activated to the owner’s TVs or other display devices. The streaming material is never stored on the TV’s devices.
